To be honest I only did proportion because angel took balance from me and proportion was the next one that seemed the most interesting to me. Proportion is one of the bigger things to have in any piece or it won't stick out. The size is relative to a lot of things in every piece and it helps draw attention to the work you did. The back of my poster is a man walking in the desert and I picked him because a lot of the time proportion is compared to the human body and it seemed like a really good picture to use. The picture even worked for my rules of thirds and the guy fit right in the perfect spot. I wouldn't of thought of actually enlarging the picture until Singleton showed me and gave me the good idea. I basically didn't use that many tools just the ruler to make my grit, I had to resize my paper because it was being a butt. Then I enlarged my picture because it seemed like the best idea. Something I am doing on size and making the picture bigger looked better and it worked really well what the poster was about. I used to little coloring tool where you clicked it and it takes the color you clicked on so you don't I have to find that yourself. I ask revised all my letters because it looked better for the title to have something to do relative to size and it turned out really well. I really liked how this turned out just because it looked way better than the first way I had it. If I saw this on the wall I would most likely look at it because on the computer it draws my eye because of the color and the picture in the background.
Swifty Bees
I made this bee holding an S because I like to use technology and I kind of wanted to sell it. I made it a bee just because bees do a lot of work for their entire life and they do it to keep the queen happy. So it is kind of like technology because it is here to do work but also keep people happy because they can find pretty much anything on the Internet or play games. How I did this whole piece, at the beginning I thought it was going to take my forever to actually finish this logo just because it looked kind of difficult and everything. After I started looking more at the bee and the s I thought about the whole logo and many different shapes and I finished it in one class period after I got done complaining. I just typed a big S and went off that then used the spray paint to draw my bee. Then after I have the outline of the bee done I used the pencil to get as smooth of edges as I could. In the end it turned out really good and I like it a lot. I think this logo worked out really well, it turned out really good and I liked my idea about calling it Swifty Bees just because bees are fast and they can fly as they work from flower to flower. The Internet goes person to person so the Internet would kind of be like the flowers and pollen. The color yellow works out really well because most places that sell technology have a yellow logo, which I did look at. Then most logos with an animal in it would turn out to be a black and white logo so that worked out as well.
I made this piece because a lot of people don't set themselves up for big goals. If you don't set a big goal for yourself you won't go far in life. But if you set a goal you are dreaming big even if it may not be a very big goal but it's still a goal and you have more in mind then a person who doesn't have a goal at all. If you dream a better dream you will most likely succeed. I wasn't at school when I did this piece so I had to use my own paint but it still turned out pretty well. My paint is sort of old but it still worked, but I'm not all sure if paint has a expiration date but if it did, my paint is definitely over it. But then I used a paint roller so I didn't have to use my small paint brush for my big piece of paper. I also used a small paint brush to make my dreams more precise. I used more messy strokes for my first dream so then I could do bigger nicer strokes for the second dream so it could be brand new sort of feeling. I liked and disliked this piece just because I didn't take all that much time on it and if I did I could of made it look a lot better than it does now. I could of made the background better as well. I would of made the top of the background dark because it is with the old dream but then fade to a lighter purple on the bottom because it's where the new dream is. I wish I could back and actually take time on it but I did like the colors I chose because they go together well. The lettering looks good too but I wish I would of made the top more sloppy so it looks like an old dream.
Zombiefied
I made this piece just because I like to write, draw zombies. I just have this thing for the living dead. I like to watch the walking dead with my family so I figured for my infographic I would do something on zombies. I got inspired by that and also how everyone is always on their phone so I figured Id add how to survive the zombie apocalypse by using a cellphone or any technology. I used a lot of tools, I had to draw all my art work first on paper because it would of been too complicated to draw straight onto the computer. After I was done drawing, I scanned everything on to the computer and traced it then had to color it in by filling in every shape. That was sort of hard for me because I didn't fill in all the shapes when I was tracing so some of the shapes would get filled in weirdly but then after a while I fixed them all and it turned out pretty well. I really like this piece more then anything I have done all my years in art. I think the 3 or 4 weeks I spent working on it was way too much worth it. Usually I'm always rushing on my art so I can get it done but this one I took my time on it because I really liked my idea of it and it looks way better then I thought it would just because I'm not all that good drawing on the computer. I would of never of had the chance to draw this is I hadn't taken graphic design and people who were in it last year said illustrator sucked and I understand why they said that but I think I got the hang of it. Even though I did make a lot of things more complicated on myself then they should of been.
